from the balloons that float to the top of every dollar tree store, to the blades of grass that poke out of the asphalt of an otherwise monochromatic street, robert’s work is simply a catalog of what he sees throughout his life. His images have an essence of melancholy. they long for unremarkable moments. they are through the lens of paying attention. fleeting moments have a lot more to offer than many people give them credit for.
