mckenzie easter was born and raised in newport news, virginia but has been living in las vegas for the past eight years. she is a bfa student concentrating in sculpture entering her senior year at unlv. her work aims to bridge the gap between trash and fine art, combining patterns and found objects, urging the viewer to reinterpret what is considered waste and what is considered sacred.
